The application for the academic year 2024-2025 is now open. Please check the website of the institution you want to apply to for the deadline(s).
Eligible Countries : All non-EU/EEA Countries can apply for this scholarship.

Program Type : Undergraduate and Master’s level.

Scholarship Duration : The grant is awarded for 1 year and can only be received once.

Holland Scholarship Eligibility.
Interested candidates can check their eligibility by the following criteria;
1 . Your nationality is non-EEA.
2 . You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
3 . You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on the website of the institution.
4 . You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.

1 . Holland has a binary education system :
Research universities – offers research-oriented education.
University of Applied Sciences – Offer higher professional education which focuses on practical application of art and sciences.
At both types of university you can do a bachelor’s as well as master’s degree program, but only research universities offer the opportunity to do a PhD. At most Dutch institutes you have the possibility of starting your program either in September or February.
2 . The Netherlands still hold the highest number of English-taught programs in continental Europe – pretty impressive.
3 . Dutch institutions generally score high in international education rankings.
4 . In Netherlands, international students from outside the European Union are allowed to work up to 10 hours a week alongside their studies or, instead, work full-time during the summer months of June, July and August. This helps international students to support themselves.
5 . After finishing studies in the Netherlands, international graduates are allowed 12 months to look for a job.
6 . As of this year, non-EU students and researchers in the Netherlands are allowed to form their own start-up or companies while studying in Netherlands.

Holland Scholarship Value and Duration.
Successful applicants will have a scholarship fund amounts to € 5,000. You will receive this in the first year of your studies.
Please Note : As this scholarship is not full tuition, applicants are advised to have enough funds to support their tuition fee and living expenses in Netherlands.
