Tampere University Scholarship Eligibility.
To be eligible for the Tampere Scholarship:
1 .Applicant must be fee-paying student or applying for a fee-paying program.
2 . Applicant should be healthy, both mentally and physically to stay in a foreign country for longer duration.
3 . Undergraduate Applicant should have finished or be schedule to finish formal education of high school courses by date of arrival. Master’s students should have a bachelor’s degree.
4 . Scholarships are merit-based and may be awarded primarily at admission to the most successful applicants. Some scholarships may also be earned during studies.
Scholarship Value, Duration and Requirements.
1 . Tampere tuition Scholarships : It cover full 100% of the tuition fees for the chosen program duration. This scholarship is awarded to successful applicants applying for admission.
Program Duration: (a) . Three years for Bachelor’s degrees.
(b) . Two years for Master’s degrees.
(c) . Five years if the study right is granted for both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree.
Tuition fee Scholarship Requirement : Tampere tuition fee scholarship holders are to maintain a progressive academic record to retain the scholarship for the next academic year.
The recipient must earn at least 55 credits during the academic year as clearly stated in the study plan. If a scholarship recipient completes 50-54 credits during the academic year, his or her scholarship will be reduced to 50% in the next academic year. If a scholarship recipient completes less than 50 credits during the academic year, he or she will no longer enjoy the scholarship benefits. He or she will pay the full tuition fee in the following academic year.
Scholarship During studies : all fee-paying students are eligible to apply for Tampere University tuition fee scholarships covering 50% of tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded to a fee-paying student who completes at least 60 ECTS credits with a GPA of no less than 3/5 in an academic year. The scholarship is awarded after the first year of studies for one year at a time upon application.
2 . Early bird scholarship
The early bird scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fee during the first year of studies. This scholarship is available at admission to all fee-paying students. Tampere University tuition fee scholarship holders can not be beneficiaries of this scholarship.
Early bird Scholarship Duration : is valid for only the first year of studies.
Requirement : Students can benefit the early bird scholarship by accepting their admission offered study place and paying 50% of the tuition fee within two weeks after receiving the admission information. International students can pay the 50% of the tuition fee before even travelling to Campus.
