
University of Cape Coast Scholarship is given to support Needy but brilliant Ghanaian students with limited finances. This is administered by the universities Financial Support Office.

Application Timeline : The application process commences in March of each year.

The University of Cape Coast does not want a lack of funding to stop any student from his/her professional growth. In actualizing its vision and mission statements within the contexts of the core values, Student Finance Support Office (StuFSO) shall seek to create a financial environment that will enable Needy-but-brilliant students of the University of Cape Coast to complete their studies successfully. From an initial student enrolment of 155 in 1963, the University of Cape Coast now has a total student population of 74, 720 The breakdown is as follows: 18949 regular undergraduate students, 1445 sandwich undergraduate students, 1014 regular postgraduate students, 2773 sandwich postgraduate students 48989 distance undergraduate students and 1540 postgraduate distance students. The University admitted a total of 24723 students into its various programs for the 2016/2017 academic year.
University of Cape Coast Scholarship Eligibility
Interested applicants must satisfy the following conditions to apply;
1 . Must be a Ghanaian by birth.
2 . Be enrolled as a student of the University of Cape Coast on full-time regular program or any of the University’s distance program.
3 . Be able to demonstrate financial need and must be ready to supply any documentary evidence for decision making.
4 . Must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship scheme.
5 . Must be brilliant as determined by the University.
6 . Must complete an application form by providing the right information.

Scholarship Requirement.
1 . Minimum CGPA Requirement is 2.5.
2 . Applicant must have an institutional email address.
3 . Undergraduate applicant must complete the first academic year.

1 . Scanned copy of one of the following identification cards. (NHIS Card or National Identification Card or Voters ID and Passport).
2 . Scanned copy of death certificate in case of death of parent.

Scholarship Value and Duration.
The Financial Support at the University is in the form of a full scholarship, partial scholarship, provision of accommodation, fee arrangements and, on-campus work-study or part-time job opportunities for students.
The form of scholarship will be given based on the availability of funds. Successful applicants will be officially notified with a letter stating the scholarship benefits.
Duration: University Of Cape Coast scholarship is valid through out the duration of the applicant program provided the required academic performance and conduct are met.
